One of the most endearing qualities of Lauren Perez is her ability to feel relatable like everyone else without being quite like anyone else in the world. An entrepreneur with a storied French-Moroccan-American background, Lauren is also a creative director and designer, having worked with brands such as Alo, Bandier, Good American, Cherry, Steve Madden and FRAME denim.
Born in Paris, Lauren immigrated to America as a young girl with her band of brothers following an international move of her father’s textile business. With deep familial roots in the fashion industry from her father to uncle, who founded the Rampage Clothing Company, Lauren’s style is inspired by her upbringing and further influenced by her mother’s love of heritage brands.
Spending much of her youth in the Rampage factory with her mom, learning the ins-and-outs of garmentry, the budding creative would hang with the pattern makers and sewers. After a brief stint at FIDM, Lauren came to realize that her life experiences prepared her in a deeply meaningful way that allowed her to step into this next phase with confidence.
